Fabric notes
This is a perfect project for a color study. Notice how the colors flow across the quilt on the diagonal. The KISSes, regardless whether they are prints or solids, contrast with the quares of the First Layer, even though they’re in the same color families, supporting the flow of color. Use what you have in your stash or buy fat quarters or precut 10˝ × 10˝ squares (Layer Cakes, Patty Cakes, Stackers, and so on) to cut down (see Resources). I used fabric by Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably.
